Project: Book cover illustration
Title: ”The Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka
I created this illustration for a book cover of Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, commissioned by a local publisher. I wanted to capture both the unsettling absurdity and the claustrophobic atmosphere of the story.
This work reflects my approach to illustration as a balance between narrative and atmosphere – not just showing the literal transformation, but conveying the psychological weight of the story.
