Title: Bella
This work is about how we humanize our pets, projecting beauty standards and rituals of luxury onto them. It’s playful, but it also reflects on the way status and appearance often get tied to identity. By turning a dog into the “bella donna” of the frame, the piece becomes a parody of the strange ways we define beauty.
