Title: Fashion time
I created this piece as a reflection on beauty standards and how we choose to present ourselves. By dressing up a monkey in bold accessories and placing it in this vibrant, patterned setting, I wanted to create something that feels both humorous and a little unsettling.
It’s about how beauty can sometimes feel performative – how trends and expectations can push us to transform ourselves into something almost unrecognizable. The result is lighthearted on the surface, but there’s also a subtle critique of how far we go to be noticed, accepted, or admired.
